This Cottage is an affordable, compact, post & beam dwelling, earth bermed into a remote steep mountain hillside. When viewed from up on the hill above, the Cottage is almost completely hidden, as the sloping forest floor is continuous with the vegetated green roof. The Cottage Building Section is designed to optimize passive solar as well as active solar hot water and Photovoltaics (PV). It also features a vegetated garden roof terrace, accessible from the Upper Floor Loft.
