Also featured in the book “Reciprocal Frame Architecture” by Olga Popovic Larsen, Architectural Press 2008. Completely off the grid, this hybrid post & beam Cottage features straw bale walls and a vegetated green roof. The unique free-span reciprocal frame roof structure was assembled on the subfloor for safety and ease of construction, and lifted into place as a single unit.
